What is the best way to make coffee? With coffee being one of the most popular beverages in the world, there are lots of different ways to make the tasty, caffeinated drink. Today we’ll be going over one of the best ways to make coffee in my opinion, the French press. There are many different styles of coffee press with the most common being glass. Bodum has a great model that I have had and used many times. The problem with the glass version is that they are hard to clean, machine or hand washed, without breaking them.
The most recent find of mine is the Secura press on Amazon. These presses are great as they are durable and keep your java warmer than glass. I do admit, its mesmerizing and satisfying to watch the grounds spin around the press in a delicious morning tornado through the glass body. Please dont let me keep you from getting a Bodum as they are a great brand that I still do use. Its just that the metal is so much more durable.
