What is the best travel coffee mug? There lots of fancy stainless steel coffee mugs out there that are pricey on the per ounce scale. The Thermos name has been around for a long time. The name makes me think of a big green Thermos that you would pour tomato soup in the lid and drink it. That style is still available but they make a newer style that is a little more modern and convenient.
The one Ill be reviewing today has a lid that has a very easy side motion lever that gives you access to drink. Its 16 oz which is perfect for me and I find myself sipping it throughout the day. The best part of this combo for me is the fact that there’s two. One I use for coffee and the other I use for my water cup in the house, not using the lid. This gives me an extra lid for my coffee cup and the other makes a perfect water cup. Plastic or glass cups sweat with ice water in them. This makes it hard to play cards, gets everything on the table wet and leaves water rings. With the double layer on the Thermos Tumbler, its never hot or cold on the outside of the cup.
Now lets get into actual cost. This set is going for around $26 on Amazon. Other stainless steel pint glasses or Thermos type water jugs are pricey. The Hydro Flask 16oz cup on Amazon is around $38. In my mind that’s crazy but they are riding a trend right now so good for them. I left a link below for that option.
